OUR SERVICE GREENHART has now over 180 customers on its books for garden maintenance. As you can see from the rest of our web site we are true professional landscapers undertaking many differing contracts. We have been doing this for the past 20 years. We are now expanding our maintenance business further by offering of a full treatment service to all our customers and to any new customers who wish to have tailor made plan for their lawn area.

TREATMENT PLANS Many of the other lawn treatment companies on the market offer a blanket treatment plan, we offer a plan tailored to your garden this will not just save you spending on treatments you don’t need, but will give results we are looking for on your specific garden. The reason for saying this is that all 180 gardens we maintain there is not any two that have the same problems, yes some are similar but problems change and occur during the year that our expert advice and knowledge can be invaluable in the keeping of your lawn.

WHAT WE OFFER Our service can offer a fertilizer plan to suit your garden. This service offers a fertilizer to suit your lawn and is specifically for your lawn. This would mean the type of feed, the amount of feed and how many times in the year we would feed the lawn. We also provide a scarification service and we can also do hollow tine aeration. The scarification is done to remove thatch caused by dead grass and other litter that maybe choking the growth of healthy grass. The aeration is a treatment that takes a core of soil about 4cm long by 2.5cm wide and around 10cm apart from the whole lawn. This is done to help drainage, soil compaction allows nutrients to reach the plant roots and allows the soil to breath. This treatments works really well on most lawns, especially lawns that have had a lot of human traffic during the year. We also spray for weeds on the lawn with a selective weed killer, this means the spray kills the weeds and leaves the grass to grow unimpeded by weeds. Another treatment we can provide is the putting down of lawn sand. The sand contains iron which kills the moss. The iron also helps to strengthen the grass and gives a good healthy green colour.

FREE LAWN ASSESSMENT. We check for moss, weeds infestation, soil compaction, drainage problems, insects (leather jackets etc), dog urine damage, we can also analyse soil to make sure we use the best fertilizer for the job.

WHY LEAVE THE BEDS. This is a service as far as we know no other treatment company provides. We can also make sure your plants have the best chance to flourish and in some cases to even survive. The same applies here as we have done for your lawn. We analyse the soil for compaction, fibre potash, phosphates and nitrogen and apply the appropriate treatments and feeds. They could involve soil conditioners, appropriate fertilizers and to add organic feeds such as composted manure (Stuff that does not smell)
